So, who am I?
Hi there! My name is Celine van Helvoirt (1999) and I am a Dutch illustrator, graphic designer, video/photographer and content creator located in a little town called Heeswijk-Dinther. Recently I finished my Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustrated and Animated storytelling at the School of Art & Design AKV|St. Joost in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
What do I do?
I make things. Draw illustrations, design logos, do printwork, shoot photos & videos, create content for social media, and so on..
illustration
Drawing has been my passion since I was a kid. Most of the time I work digital and would describe my style as graphic, commercial with the use of eye-catching color combinations. With this I ensure that my audience quickly recognizes themselves in my work which makes it widely accessible. I get my inspiration from people, environments, but also current social topics really appeal to me.
branding
Besides the fact that I have always illustrated a lot has my interest and love for branding accelerated for over the last few months. Linking a certain look and feel and creating your own visual identity for a company is something I love to do. Sparring about ideas with the customer, making mood boards, creating the visuals for the corporate identity, and this until the customer is 100% satisfied. Only then I'm satisfied.
creating content
I have also been active on social media for a long time. Over the years you will notice what happens to your social media account as you get to know its strategies better. By delving into this, I have been able to expand my knowledge of certain social media strategies, which is useful for branding.
video- & photography
When creating a brand and creating content, photos and videos cannot be missed. Capturing beautiful moments, memories & environments can offer a certain subject extra (necessary) context. I am also involved in product photography. I'm always excited when it comes to the editing part, reviewing all the shots from the shooting and selecting the gems. And then you can still go all directions through editing!
In the end, it all depends on each other. A logo cannot do without an illustrated sketch. A good brand cannot do without professional photos & videos. And content on social media cannot do without photographed, illustrated or designed visual material. And that is where I would like to help you!
